You do realise that Bill thinks it's in Cheshire now! smile

Anyhow, yes it's Newark Priory on the Wey, and if you get up ever so early you can visit it tomorrow morning. Alternatively the best way is from the river, although you can't set foot on the private land, which is a shame.

Good morning.
Firstly an apology. Id only browsed the forum for some inspiration for this years holiday. Sorry!

A little help with protocol would be welcome please.
Im not sure if I need to be invited to put up a pic by the previous poster however dont wish to keep you all waiting.
It isnt as 'out there' as the Priory however if clues are needed let me know when to start dropping them.

I don't think I'm right as it doesn't look steep enough, but is it the Buttertubs Pass?

Well, we know it has moorland. So that restricts where it can be. Doesn't look like the North York moors. Look too flat for Scotland.

So I'm going to go Pennines? Maybe south Pennines?

Damn, you're good.
I may not need advice on when to drop clues after all smile

Sadly, it is the north Pennines that I know best, so someone else will have to narrow it down.

Is it a county or country border, odd that the white lines suddenly stop at the saddle grid.

Good spot, but no

However the county border is just over a mile away on the same road

Just watching Car SOS about a MGA and they go for a drive on what could be the same road. Pity they don't say where it is.

Presumably it's the edge of the national park. No idea where though.

Same county, but a B road

Location is my photo but inspired by these taken within a few yards by Pistonheads.....

I may have commented on the thread smile
