Would only be a guess as I've only been to the islands on the west - Penang and Langkawi. I'd take a stab at Kota Kinabalu

There's a farm shop not far from me that raises their own crocodile and has a fair selection of exotic meats

I ate crocodile whilst in Queensland - reminded me of frogs legs, sort of chewey slightly fishy chicken. My virility was unaffected.......

Perhaps I didnt eat enough.
