You’re so close that I’m almost tempted to give it to you, but I’ll wait until tomorrow.
If you’re familiar with Paderborn, you’ll surely know where this is, and it’s the 1980s.

Rheine?
I’d never heard of Rheine, I thought that you were thrown by the river going through it clue.
I Googled it, and it’s 140 clicks out.

Are your clicks metric or imperial?

That’s my youngest, at The Signals barracks there, just about
to hop in his Golf to go visit his brother in the R.C.T. at Bielefeld.

Frank, being a fully paid up lazy s.o.b., was just thinking about getting up and fixing a pot of coffee when you posted that, the joys of retirement.
Oh, Abbots query, clicks, (or Klicks), are kilometres, so metric, my eldest started to drop it into sentences, and I asked where it came from.
He said that he’d been on manoeuvres with a Yank outfit around Frankfurt, and they kept saying it, “thirty more clicks then we’ll bivouac” etc.
It stuck in his and his mates heads, and they kept on using it, even after they left the army.
He was staying with his mother in Norwich once, and was due to come to London to visit my wife and I.
I asked him for an ETA, and he said, “Depends on traffic Dad, 190 clicks in U.K. ain’t as easy as 200 in Germany.”

woohoo

I wasn't sure, it's been a long time (over 50 years) and those German built barrack blocks all look the same.

Someone else take it on, I don't have anything to hand.

Just to clarify from the initial post as it's possible some have joined the thread since the rules were set.

Rules:
- Must be your photo, not nicked off the net.
- The location must be in some way identifiable in the shot (think holiday forum rather than photography forum biggrin)
- Whoever gets it right gets to post one of theirs (or open it up if they want to).
- Wait until the current photo is guessed before adding one.
- When yours is identified, update your post with the answer.
- When guessing, please don't just chuck the photo into an image search tool. There's no fun in that.

Once again, I'm unable to upload a photo via my iPhone!

I'll let someone else have a go until I figure out the problem.

Apologies if I misunderstood, or am wrong, but as you say the last image is available on google which is not usual if it is your own photo.
