Ooh, a proper steampunk series.

Looks good.

I may (just may) be able to overlook the involvement of Orlando Bloom.

Doesn't look like anyone else can.

My first thought was that it looks a bit Perdido Street Station.

hehe

THis seems to have been in a sort of post-production stasis.

I'll wait to see opinions on here.

Watched first one - pretty good.

Dark, violent, well-made. A little predictable and occasionally hammy, but going to watch the second one.

Amazon have thrown money at the production values - you wouldn't see this attention to detail and quality if the BBC tried it.

Orlando Bloom isn't that annoying either.

Binged the season,

It's ok, nothing special but not bad.

Solid 6/10.

Fans of Cara will be pleased at some of the scenes!

I was going to say that I was quite shocked at Carla Devigne [sp], in as much as she wasn't fking dreadful in it (only at e2 though so she's still got time to revert to type)

Why does Orlando Bloom sound like Ross Kemp?

Her accent isn’t too bad but his is awful.

There’s a plausible fairy brothel in it.

8/10

I really enjoyed that a lot more than I thought I would. Just dark enough!

Watching this at the moment and rather enjoying it. Its messages of racial intolerance are a bit clumsy and clunky but if you just sit and watch it as a story it's good fun.
