Any other Hilton Honors points wes here? After a couple of projects now away I have amassed 750,000 and wondering if anyone else had any good tips on cool places to use them. Could do a whole load of city breaks but with this amount realise I could get some serious time somewhere nice.

Winning at the moment in the Conrad in Bali, looks rather quite splendid and being Bali its looking like 39,000 points a night.... decent!

Anyone else uncovered any other gems?

Been a while since I was Diamond and doing mattress runs so might be out of date:

Kuala Lumpur is a 5 star property and 10k points a night. Oman was another high star, low points destination.

Conrad Maldives and Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi look good. The latter starts at roughly £7,000 for 5 nights or 480,000 points.

Hilton are due to open a huge facility in Las Vegas next year as part of the new Resorts World, might be another option.

Have you looked at their honors experiences - with that amount of points - you can bid on experiences like f1 etc. some are really good and much better than just a hotel.

I had not seen that no, some interesting things on there! A tour of MTC is currently 130,000 points, that's pretty cool!

The Itafushi Maldives place is definitely the best points for spend option..... I don't think that's overall my cup of tea though, and its one thing to buy the room, but when everything else there is an utterly ridiculous cost might take the shine off it!

The Maldives stuff is the obvious one, anything under the Waldorf Astoria brand.

I have about 900,000 points, but find that now with dynamic pricing that the places I'd want to use them in the prices have gone through the roof. I tried to use them in Munich for oktoberfest, but what I thought was 300,000 points for the trip was actually 300000 a night!

I was playing around with the maldives redemptions and some were pretty good value, but given how much they charge there for the transfer and food you're spending a minimum of about $6k for a 'free' redemption for 2.

Dont forget that for best value to book 5 nights since you get the 5th free.

Isn’t that Gala thing for certain dates around new year? The Waldorf has been booked up for months in advance but all of a sudden March has availability at 120,000 a night. Maybe some guests cancelling due to corona virus.

For me Waldorf Maldives is top of the list, then the other Maldives properties. Conrad Koh Samui is pretty cool too. There is a Conrad in New York which has suite only rooms. Hilton Tallinn for a nice hotel, exec lounge and low points redemption.

Conrad in Faro is quite nice. Restaurant is Michelin star and has a great cocktail bar although I found it a full of Essex wags. Hilton lake como looks nice. I was taking my wife for her birthday in March but this looks a bit dodgy right now.

A big attraction for me in the Diamond Privileges. If you have Diamond now then use the points before that status expires. Executive lounges, free breakfast. Perks vary from hotel to hotel. Asia recognises diamond status better than USA. Europe has been mixed for me for room upgrades.

As others have mentioned, 5 nights is the sweet spot, or 10....

Currently on 1.1m points now. I think we're going to use mine for a North American road trip & a week skiing somewhere.

I've always found that any German hotel treats you very well when you're Diamond. Unsurprisingly, the UK doesn't really care that much..

The best was Hilton Munich Airport. Upgrade to a 2 bed suite, 8 drink vouchers per night and the breakfast is amazing..

I've been a Diamond Honors Member for more years than i care to mention & have stayed at numerous Hilton properties on Business & Pleasure over the years. For pleasure i've used Pay, Pay & Points as well as Points only & to date no property has come even close to the above.

That said, i'm sure it would take a significant number of Points per night, however i used (many years ago) an offer Hilton Honors ran where you got 1 free night at ANY Hilton property for every 4 Hilton stays, so i used 5 of those vouchers along with Points to book a 7 night stay & it's still by a long way the best holiday i've ever had & best hotel i've ever stayed in.
