Where was I? Vol 5
Discussion
That's an easy one for me, I visit regularly about this time every year to get photos of the puffins and terns nesting. The pele tower on Inner Farne on the Farne Islands.
Although I haven't visited this year yet. Apparently (because of Covid) there are very few nesting terns this year. The NT haven't got any wardens there and no visiting tourists/birdwatchers/photographers, so the vegitation has overgrown to the point that there are no suitable nesting sites. Who'd have thought that?

Well, its not Father Ted's house and is Inner Farne, but whose was the house?
I don't know. The island was originally inhabited by St Cuthbert, then St Aiden, then a series of monks, hermits etc but that would be long before these buildings were there. The only famouse person I know of who lived on the Farne Islands was Grace Darling, but she lived on Brownstone and then Longstone islands .Abbott said:

Close enough, Pic de midi d'OssauDidn't think it would go first guess, it's a surprisingly unknown area.
