A very quick Google tells one exactly where this is. I therefore know, but haven't said.

As l asked upthread, re the rules regarding Googling individual parts of the photo. Is this against the spirit of the game? Because unless one has actually visited the place photographed it's going to be almost impossible to identify the location. And there's a huge amount of the world l haven't visited.

Queenstown is within 12miles of the answer.

I think if you ask your spouse or family member and google is not used then that is fair and allowed. Google is not.
I am not sure who FD might be though!

There's an unwritten agreement that we don't use Google unless something is obviously sticking. From time to time contributors come along and use it, solve a lot of pictures quickly, then tire and depart. Mostly there's enough knowledge on thread to use deduction & questioning with the Poster to get to the answer, which is much more satisfying.

(Besides, when you've been frequenting the thread as long as some of us, you tend to be able to recognise bits you've never been to )
