We've booked an AirBnB in The Cotswolds next week.

Anything we should see and do?

Haven't made any plans yet.

Broadway is a lovely village if you have never visited, also nearby Snowshill, and a visit to Charles Wade's Manor is a must (If open) NT.

Evesham and Chipping Campden are worth a visit, as is the beautiful village of Lower Slaughter.

The Cotswolds are quite big, so it depends where you are.

At the southern end Castle Combe (village...) is well worth a visit particularly at the moment when it won't be mobbed.

We're staying north of Burford, but happy to jump in a car for an hour or more if worth it...

Lovely drive Burford to Broadway A424 doesn't take long about 30minutes. Book the Swan in Broadway for a drink.Have a drive up to Chipping Campden via Willersey yet again all lovely drives around Hidcote/Dovers hill. Go to Blockley beautiful village and finish up in Moreton, Batsford 5 minutes from Moreton.
If like walking can walk up to Broadway Tower from either Broadway or Willersey via Farncombe lovely views towards Malvern hills.

Funny you mention places not being mobbed, we went to Bourton some years ago on a weekday and it was utter chaos with tourists and selfie sticks galore.

This summer we stopped there on a Saturday coming home from a camping trip and it was beautiful and not at all crowded. Had a lovely couple of hours sat on the banks of the river while the kids paddled and ate ice cream.

It is chocolate box stunning and as a consequence very popular with foreign tourists particularly. Enjoy it while you can!

Worth noting that you need to pre book National Trust places, and certainly Batsford Arboretum.

If the weather's OK certainly walk up to Broadway Tower from the town. You'll need decent footwear and strong calves. It's part of the cotswold way, other sections are available too.

Painswick and Winchcombe also worth visits.

So much stuff you'll probably need to book another trip!

Complete rip off.

The walk up to Broadway Tower not that difficulty, I have done it twice over last 2 weeks from Willersey via Farncoombe then down to Broadway and back to Willersey in about 2 hours. If you can't be bothered to walk there is a car park at the top of fish hill.
Not a fan of Bourton always mobbed plenty of other nice villages to visit.

So true, while at Winchcombe Cleeve hill only a few minutes away by car with fantastic views over Cheltenham race course and beyond. Also Cheltenham is worth a visit, I quiet like it more than Bath.

I'll have to have a squint at my map, where do you pick up the Willersey end of the path?

Much livestock on that path?

Great Tew (where The Falkland Arms is) isn't really in the Cotswolds but it is a lovely place. Tends to get quite busy though.

Broadway is good, and there is Broadway Hill to drive - used to be a favourite early Sunday destination when I had my Caterham. Just watch out for mad bikers on it nowadays though.

Northleach, Bourton, Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh all very nice, as are The Slaughters, Burford, Chipping Campden and Bibury. It is a very pretty area!

Daylesford is worth a visit in my view - not cheap, but beautifully done and the food and coffee is great. They have a cheese room which is well worth a quick visit as well, and the car park tends to resemble a Land Rover showroom (no complaints from me there!) and also has Tesla charging.

Had a holiday house in Burford for several years, and it's really well located for loads of stuff. Ironically, I think the Cotswolds works better in winter than it does in summer, loads of warm country pubs and it's picturesque as hell. The Burford Garden centre isn't really a garden centre and the guy who runs it is a car nut. My kids also loved the Cotswolds Farm park when they were little. Lots of places worth a visit eg Stowe, Bibury, but I always found that getting off the beaten path down those little single track roads (don't take a big car) always paid dividends. Just follow your nose.

My tip - stay away from every single one of the above recommendations, tourist ridden ste all of it. Go walking, away from the crowds.
