The room will be tastefully decorated, with a comfortable supportive bed. There will be a decent desk, without solid not a glass top, and you will be able to see the tv from it.

The temperature of the room will be easily controlled by a digital controller, and will not reset overnight. The lights can be controlled from beside the bed. The switch for the bathroom is seperate, and there is also a dimmer night light.

The shower can be switched on and temperature adjusted while keeping dry..

PH members - what can you add to our hotel?

An internal door into the large heated garage with my car safely nestled in there, perhaps with an internal window so I can watch it sleep. smile

Not quite sure what you mean, but why do you want a desk? Desks are for working...

May I suggest the hotel has a limitless supply of attractive young maids?

A cabinet (not a minibar) with the finest rums and single malts available to humanity, and a TV channel devoted to the speeches of Jacob Rees-Mogg. On the sideboard will be the latest Rolex catalogue. A katana will hang on the wall, and on the table will be a crystal horse with gloriously outstretched wings.

I’m away a lot for work.. I want to work on an evening.. and I want my mouse to not encounter a glass desktop.

I’d imagine bars on the windows and a lot of people in white coats wandering around.

Obviously it would need good WiFi and library not for the books for but for arguing over the happenings of the world over a glass of something expensive. An on site detailer might be nice.

The 'dating room', where everyone can go and discuss how on their 4th date they nearly got a stunner back to their mum's flat but she had to go and meet her other 'friend'.

The 'Trivial Lounge', full of people talking to each other via some secret code.

'nonsequitur's corner', a place where dreams go to die.

And a massive Red Indian chap who never talks wandering around all day pushing a broom.

When I stayed in the Ibis Mulsanne a couple of years ago (not when the race was there) I thought some of the design style was quite 'pistonheads'.

The art on the wall would be photos of old British street scenes from the 1970s and 1980s full of period cars for car spotting nerdery.

And one always needs somewhere from which to rattle off a sternly worded email, surely?

Clearly a walk-in humidor is a necessity for those of us from the cigar thread. Something like this should suffice:
