They look faux aged to me to house lights in the centre.
Unless I m wrong and they are a famous feature there is naff all to narrow this down any.
I'm on my computer now so see them on a larger screen and you're right, they do look to be "degraded" in a way that makes it look like it's been done in a controlled way. Unless I m wrong and they are a famous feature there is naff all to narrow this down any.

I assumed it would be known be someone that's been there, but that was clearly off the mark. It is Crete as nickfrog said so over to you and I'm happy to back the hell out of this!
You don’t need to back out, but pics have to show something that makes the location identifiable. blueg33 said:

ks - and I mean that politely as possible and I don't want to derail but there was a little pile-on with mine and I don't think it's deserved! We can get on the original rules and start pointing fingers at "it must be identifiable" written there, but that's ruling out swathes of the photos here over the years - most of them in fact. Pick the picture that I got, sod all identifiable unless you're going to start going all Spooks on blurry purple buses and Sport Directs - but I know Leeds city centre well and I thought "hand on, that's Leeds City Centre" and job done, no drama. You will need to know Crete to get mine. Why mine has cause such outrage muddles me, but there you go. Bear-n said:

ks - but look at the thread rules.Rules:
- Must be your photo, not nicked off the net.
- The location must be in some way identifiable in the shot (think holiday forum rather than photography forum biggrin)
- Whoever gets it right gets to post one of theirs (or open it up if they want to).
- Wait until the current photo is guessed before adding one.
- When yours is identified, update your post with the answer.
- When guessing, please don't just chuck the photo into an image search tool. There's no fun in that.

You're being a bit precious here mate.
It's only a fun thing.
Agreed. It's only a fun thing.
I could ve narrowed the Leeds one down to the top of Briggate, outside Tesco.
The Crete one demanded the same level of accuracy for a pic with nothing other than a patio and the sea.
