They live in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, East Africa, and some oceanic islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans.[3] There are at least 60 extant species in the genus.[4]

Habitat: The giant golden-crowned flying Fox is found only in the Philippines, where it is widespread except for the Batanes and Babuyan island groups. They prefer feeding in mature, lowland forests, away from human activity. These large bats roost in trees, often in mixed colonies with other bat species, like the Large Flying Fox (Pteropus vampyrus).

It’s critically important. If it’s a flying fox then stan needs to change his username !
