The sea in the picture is the Coral Sea.

The island is unusual as its one of the few rocky Islands in the Coral Sea

Useless info. I took the photo at about 7am on christmas day. You have to go up early as its a tough climb and it gets hot. captain Cook did the climb twice in one day I believe.

The small island is called Prince Charles Island because he stayed on the larger island so they named the small one after him - odd logic

The island is also well known for a type of reptile and blue marlin game fishing.

Can't give any more clues without naming the place!

The Kingsferry bridge has a span that can be raised. This was allegedly put there for shipping, but I can confirm it was really put there to allow the locals to be contained should the need arise!

There is also a rumour that League of Gentlemen was inspired by a holiday in Sheerness.
