Just spend a few hours reading about Marcos, and the great cars they built and reading the threads on hear I hope all of you owners out there drive these machines until the petrol pumps run dry.

Seems to me Marco's should have been TVR in the 90s and 00s but sadly it was not to be (Boxster and Z3 pretty much killed the competition).

Enjoy your cars and if anyone has an LM would love to see some pics. First car magazine I ever bought was performance car back in the 90s cover was a Pantera GT Si and a Marcos LM500.

Agreed. I've recently scratched a 25 year itch and bought myself a Marcos and a TVR-owning friend at work was astounded at how well it was built compared to his. He looked confused that the shut lines all match! I do remember a review back in the 1990s describing a Marcos as "like a TVR, but built properly"!!

Anyway, to start this thread off for you, here's my LM400

Wow thanks and a beautiful car, they really do look like the sort of thing I used to doodle on my school books back in the 90s all organic curves and bulges.

I keep thinking about buying another marcos as well, but I have to wait until I've cleared the project car backlog a bit before I take on another one.

Currently have about 5-6 cars undergoing restoration/work and adding another one... No.

Anyway, here is my Marcos

I have watched your videos and the car is beautiful with the flip paint. But can I ask was the steering wheel your choice. It looks just a little to modern I felt (what do I know of course)
