Is it yours?

Wasn't there a grey one and an orange one too?

No I'm not the owner of the Blue TSO, but I know them well. The silver grey one

Is also unlikely to be up for sale.

There is another one, possibly the Orange in the north of the country, but it's not been seen at Marcos events.

The first car on your list is a TS500 and not a TSO. It has a Rover v8 further developed by PTP which they called a Javelin. I used to own this car and regretted selling it so much I later purchased the only other and I still have it today. If you are in the market for this kind of thing then I would urge you to take a look.

The TSO is completely different and has an LS2. The last one I know of which sold was up for £57500 some time ago. The guy that sold it, Giles Cooper, was the sales director at Marcos at the end. He sold me the silver TS500 and told me the car in the advertisement went to Germany for near the asking price.

I believe the red car and the orange prototype are now in Germany also, owned by brothers.

There is a blue car in France owned by the same guy who has the LM600 Le Mans Cars.

As far as I know there are only 3 cars in the UK, the Top Gear car owned by a friend, the blue one listed in this thread and mine.

The only other car I know of is a cherry black one last saw wearing California plates.

There are some stories about the convertible but nothing certain.

It seems the car was painted a number of colours, black, green and possibly orange.

Some say the car was written off on a test drive, on a rainy day in a car park.

Others say it is still in a container somewhere.

If anyone knows for sure I would love to know.

^ Wasn't it grey initially and then after an accident painted black along with a change of rear lights? It drove like a crab after the accident or looked that way because the body wasn't fitted properly.

Boosted LS1 I am curious. Back in 2007 I owned the silver TS500 prototype and in a post regarding the cars which were auctioned off you made this comment

"The silver one was nicknamed the crab because if you followed it down the road you could see the body didn't seem to be on straight. I followed it once and it was really quite strange from behind".

This was somewhat confusing to me as the car was not like that during my ownership. I never did see the TSO convertible in the flesh. Can you please clarify which car you saw with an ill fitting body?

To help here is a link to a page with a picture of the TSO convertible

Here is a link to a page talking about the silver TS500, which is still silver and to the best of my knowledge has never been black

It wasn't a TS500, it had an LS1 engine in it and I followed it down to an engine dyno place south of the factory. The name eludes me but it'll come back to me shortly. Norris rings a bell? iirc the car was damaged at the prodrive site and then resurrected with the new rear lights.

I don’t suppose anyone would be willing to let one of these go in the future at all? I’d be very interested in buying one for myself at some point but they never come up for sale so I’ve not had the opportunity plus I’ve no idea how much one would be worth nowadays.
