Agreed. Though that does fall into a sub-set under the main heading Women.

Out for a meal with SWMBO and six other couples on Saturday. Bill arrives and half the table start 'I had a starter and you had garlic bread. He had lager and we shared a bottle of wine. They had this main course with those side orders and we had that, etc etc.' They even asked for half a dozen menus so they could all work out exactly how much everyone owed.

I divided the bill by seven, chucked the cash in the middle and left them to it.
I well you know what to do next time your invited, bloody refuse!

If I've had more than the average then I'll shout up the extra and a bit on top but I can't stand people who quibble over a few quid.

Single headlight dazzlers.

You're driving along quite happily at night wondering in bovine stupidity why you lack the normal illumination your lights normally afford. You're following another car when you realise your can actually tell the colour of hair of the driver in front so brightly have you bathed the interior of their car.You think nothing of this, even when you realise roadside vegetation is irradiated as you pass.
What can this be, you wonder.
Approaching cars flash their full beams at you for no apparent reason, and sometimes that car you've been behind for fifteen minutes pulls in and gestures you past. Fantastic.
It doesn't even occur to you when you pull up in front of your garage at night and your headlights are clearly reflected at you, one beam normal, the other about three feet higher up on the door.
How odd you think.
You're a fking idiot.
Absolutely. Tonight, I had an idiot driving behind me with his lights on full beam. I indicated to pull into a bus lane (outside the restriction time) to let him pass. He did and then with his lights still on full beam, he drove straight up against a police vehicle check. The cops pulled him and gave him a bloody good talking to. SCHADENFREUDE! I got waved through the check.

I once had dinner in the city with about 20 people about a year ago, the bill went round and everyone worked out what they owed (it was painful) however most people put in a few extra quid, or rounded it up to the nearest £5 or £10 because they had notes. Anyway it got to the last two people (a couple) and the total of the bill had already been reached because of everyone's extra few quids and these two C**TS ACTUALLY DIDN'T BOTHER PAYING ANYTHING?!?! As they felt the bill had already been reached so therefore they didn't have to? So everyone paid for their dinner! I actually considered murder that night!
i just wouldnt have let hem get away with it, or forget it at least. Cheeky s.

Im with Antony on this one, id pay extra just not to sit and get annoyed with these muppets (and because id have had the starter, steak, desert and Chablis to myslf...but thats not the point)

On the bright side - You could have drunk and impatient people like me. Who put their hand up and say "oh for fks sake, I'll just pay it". And then find a massive bill on an AMEX. And then try to work out how the hell to claim back the expenses.

Great for everyone else. Bad for me.

That's exactly what I did the other week for 4 of us in an Indian resturant, they started analyzing the bloody bill so I paid the lot! frown

My wife's taken our 12 week old daughter into her work today. She needs to discuss returning to work and we didn't have the option of leaving her with somebody. Sometimes it's necessary.

But mining was a family affair - dad knocked the rocks, mum hauled the wagon, and junior operated the trap door. Twelve hour shift six days per week. Lots of time together to discuss relationship issues, schools, holidays and politics.

If you still consider your 12 year old a baby then we'd better start another thread!
