I've bought a few pairs in the last month, summers nearly here in the colonies, so lairy colours a must!

The cat naturally is disgusted with me...

L-R we have Florsheim Corona in yellow, SuperGa Cotu in Ultra Marine Blue, Havianas, Northwave Carbon road shoes for the velo and Florsheim Corona in tan.

I admit it, I love shoes!

Well mate if like me you work in a manly environment and get covered in filth and swarf all day, its nice to come home and throw off the uniform of mire and dress with a bit of joie de vivre.

I can't help but think you'd be better suited to a different thread.

Yeah, point him in the direction of one that isn't gay.

Thanks for that comment.

They are vey smart and very stylish too, perfect for my business meetings.

The soles are a work of art too, must take a picture of that too.

Just don't tell my wife they cost almost £200 !

Thanks, I do thankfully the last Celine hand bag I bought her in Ceasers Palace in Vegas, was £2k, so that earned me plenty of brownie points!

My Paul Smith 'daily drivers'. They are a bit 'fashion' but they are nice and comfortable and haven't fallen to pieces yet.

I like those a lot, link? The bit about not falling apart yet, is that the rep PS shoes have?

Edit: Should read whole thread before asking

Edited by Origin Unknown on Tuesday 21st August 17:24
Thanks.

I only thought they'd fall apart because they're a bit of a fashion shoe, rather than a sturdy shoe!

I can't find mine online now but these look pretty cool.

Bit of a big ask but any chance you have a part number or a name for the trainers in your OP please mate? Those are exactly what I'm after but I cannot find them for love nor money smile
Well, they have started to wear through a bit on the heel. Had them 18 months so not disappointed and will still use them most of the time.

Picked up some new 'for best' trainers today. A little bit bling maybe but very comfortable.

Slightly to the side of this topic but not by much.
My wife visited the Church shop in Edinburgh today. Has anyone here been there recently?
Without going into detail, yet, she had the most miserable time at the hands of the sales staff. To such an extent she stormed out of the shop and went to Crombie and bought me a coat instead of shoes!!
She is in the process of writing to Church now and I wondered if this is a general attitude in their shops or just a bad day in Edinburgh!

I cannot understand why people are treated badly in shops. It never happened to me, and I believe it has much to do with the way a customer behaves himself.

Re shoes in this thread - seriously, are you wearing these plastic obscenities?????

Got these recently, to replace my original pair which got destroyed more than 20 years ago:

Edit - they have a pair on exhibit in the V&A museum - now that is pretty awesome.
