At least the courier was honest...shame the dog didn't hold his end of the deal.

(no not my garden - I was the seller on eBay)

Nice. I assume the buyer thinks it's your fault?

Tbh the buyer in broken English (would appear to be Spanish) seems ok about it and suggests I contact the couriers.

I personally find it hilarious that someone who managed to fill in an application form to get a job, and has a driving license (one would presume!) considers a dog to be a suitable recipient for a package delivered on a secure/signed courier service.

Barking mad wink

Same thing happened to me with Royal Mail a few months back, Except they threw it over a 6ft fence in the rain hehe

Didn't get a cool card like that though. That's awesome

Outstanding hehe

From buying and selling quite a few items, do not under any circumstances trust Yodel to collect or deliver anything with any sense..

I've yet to find a well priced courier that doesnt employ cowboys, I've had packages delivered to me with no card left , items left in a previously locked gas cabinet, left in the garden in the rain.

But I've never had a card left with such honesty!

I find it most amazing that on e-bay you managed to sell an old stick, a busted football and a ripped faux-leather folder of some sort.

Only item sold on eBay was a genuine leather iPad case - clearly the dog thought it was lunch

Depends on what sort of thing you're sending, but I was doing 15kg tool sets and sent them via Interparcel. A much better broker than the likes of parcel2go, and their standard services use UPS - the 48hr service delivered next day every single time and, where I was at least, the drivers were very good. Never had a problem, nor did my housemate who did pretty big volume with them!

Lol, the non-official Yodel drivers are paid about 60pence per drop. to even get your package delivered to your dogs, you should be thankful wink

Very funny yet irritating at the same time - sorry!

At least you know now to never use Yodel & I'm assuming P2Go ever again. Good luck trying to get anything out of these people - they are a nightmare. P2Go will claim it's nothing to do with them as they are just a broker & as an individual, you won't be able to speak to Yodel.

I use Parcel Monkey or Interparcel now & City Link / Parcelforce / UPS as the carrier.

At least the buyer isn't blaming you - just refund him & move on.

Could an Ipad case not have been sent Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery through the Post Office?

At least he turned up - I spent all day today at home waiting for UPS to deliver a parcel (between 9am & 7pm is apparently their window). Nothing. At 7.30pm I get an email saying they forgot to put it on the van & they'll deliver tomorrow. Well that's okay then, I'll just take another bloody day off work!
