The orange light in the very far distance is Gatwick Airport.

I worked at an office based in Leeds Bradford airport a while back.

This is the view I had from my window...

And to prove how close it was (crappy pic) - but you can see the window frame.

And the view walking from the office to the car park (separated by a fence)

My house just overlooks a bunch of crappy semi detached houses just like my own, so nothing to see there...

View from my desk at work ....

Singapore Straits, Indonesia in the far distance, the Shell Refinery on Pulau Bukom in the middle distance and the new reclamation works for port expansion in the foreground. Sentosa Island to the left.

I must have driven right past your orifice on the way from West Coast Road to Changi last Tuesday.

That would be about right about 1km west of Kepple (the funky condo). Should have told me, I could have thrown things at you as you went past wink

Hotel Kamal. By far the nicest hotel I've stayed in since I've been here and about £16 a night. Currently holed up in my room away from the 36 degree heat, feeling a little the worse for wear after a 15 hour 3 train journey down from the Himalayas yesterday arriving at 0100 this morning and then an 0500 wake up to see the Taj because I'd completely forgotten it's closed tomorrow hehe

Wow some cracking pics there.

If I look out of my house window I can see the oap bungalows opposite and a church behind them, look to the left and I can see some hills, look out of the back (when the trees are bare) and I can see Pendle Hill.

When at work, if we look out of the shop door, (and it's not raining, sorry monsooning) we can see the KFC across the carpark, or MacDonalds to the left if you actually stand at the door!

Christ - I think I know this place too.
On NO ACCOUNT have their "special" lassi.
At least, if you have one, make sure you ask the proprietor to refuse you a second one no matter how much you beg.
If you do end up having two, get on ground level ASAP and lock yourself in your room.
And say hello to Slender Man at the foot of your bed from me.
