I remember the guy on "Supersize Me" eating nothing but MuckDonalds, he was advised to stop by his Doctor before he killed himself.
Pretty much why I dont go in there. Besides which, half an hour later I am hungry again so go for some real food.
Absolutely.

That really was dietary advice for the hard of thinking.

You know the more I read this thread the more I have to ask - does anyone really believe that taking a child to McDonalds is child cruelty?
More to the point does anyone believe I was being entirely serious. biggrin

This isn't aimed at you specifically but there seems to be a need to demonstrate how healthy one's children are before "admitting" that we take them to McDonald's. biglaugh

hehe It's like the Asda threads...

"I NEVER go in there, but when I do, I make sure I'm in and out fast, with only quality stuff!"

I have almost collected the entire spongebob collection of toys its great, I have a periscope for surveying on site looking over vessels, a magnifying glass for looking at isos and flow diagrams and a tressure chest to keep my loose change in.

Am I the only one who goes to mac'ds 3 or 4 times a week for my tea or lunch?

Nope i eat there fairly regularly when i pick my Mrs up from work (she is a McDonalds manager) as she finished work at odd times so its easier than firing up the oven at home at something past 10 at night

I know weeping and I have just done it again. Bit of footie, climbing frames and a 1 mile walk followed by bloody Mac's. At least the kids all only ate half their burgers, left their fries and just wanted the toys. Grandad had a coffee but I had to have a quarter pounder with cheese meal with banana milkshake :cloud:

Regretting it already but weirdly I'm not overweight.

You don't nee to look too overweight to be fked internally with fat.

That fella from The Men Who Made Us Fat looked normal, and had litres of internal fat.

the meat is decent stuff in a McD's, its the stuff that goes with it that has the potential to cause trouble (thin chips, sauces, mayo, dressings, apple pies, milkshakes, giant coke etc.

once in a while it would do no one any real harm.

breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner frequently would be a cause for concern

Can't get me eldest (8) into any fast food place, so I just dont push the issue, my youngest (5) will nibble at the burger but mainly goes for the Toy and then wants to leave.

He - We dont know, he wont touch sausages / chips either or anything like that just says he doesnt like the taste. His diet is well quite balanced in some areas i.e. Chicken Korma he loves. So his getting an element of junk I guess.

They are trying to associate a trip to Maccy D's with a pleasant experience ie getting a toy.
But the toys are so cool.
