How much money do you spend on a night out?
Discussion
Only just got round to reading all the responses on this thread and thought it could do with an update. Went out on Friday night to a bar in London, spent £183.10 on my card without realising and another £100 cash! I checked my online banking and was shocked. New rule is to only leave my house with £100 and leave my card at home - more than enough for a good night out without breaking the bank. Am trying to stick to a budget of £625 (the most I have been advised to withdraw as a monthly salary to avoid paying income tax and minimal NI) and it's proving to be harder than I thought. Including my random impulse spending on foreign food online, have currently gone over budget by £100 and it's only the 22nd, looks like I'll be the next couple of weekends at home.
To all the people who mentioned they spend anwhere up to a grand on a night out, as they say, you can't take your money with you when you go so fair play! Can imagine they must be some pretty wild nights

Ok well I've just paid my tab here - £62.40 in just under 2 hours and leaving sober without buying food and only buying 1 drink for someone else, a glass of house white for a bird.
How you lot manage to have a night out on under a £100 I have no idea. Either you sip shandy, don't drink, or ponce.
I live above a bar. Even at £5 a pint, that would still be twenty pints. How you lot manage to have a night out on under a £100 I have no idea. Either you sip shandy, don't drink, or ponce.
Edited to say, bill is normally zero, as Saying "Put it on tullet's tab" takes care of the money side.
