^Very nice but I hope you carried out your due diligence: Ridley Scott had some replicas commissioned for his 1977 film ‘The Duallists’ starring Harvey Keitel and Keith Carradine, the scene with them in sadly ending up on the cutting room floor.

OK fellow festive spoonists, what did Santa bring you this year?
A Dubesse "Stealth" Model D. One of only seven known to exist, and I own three of them.

Adaptive camouflage, well ahead of its time, helped these to be hidden from the "Spoon Raiders" of Maidenhead during the dark times of the mid-1990s

You, Sir have been had.
A Dubesse "Stealth" Model D. One of only seven known to exist, and I own three of them you boast.

They were made by the thousand, the stealth marketing being particularly good at concealing the true number sold.

They really only have novelty value. Mine is genuine.

That's a Model B, clear as day.

Never, a D it is.

The difference between the B and D is minor, being limited to the cirliculation on the bysse.

Perhaps some specialist could comment?

confused The one on the left is a B, the one in the middle is a C and it’s the one on the right that is a D, surely?

Correct, plain as the nose on your face. Blib knows his vanilla stuff, but anything out of the out of the ordinary flummoxes him.

If you are ever passing the Ye Olde Spon Lodge in London please pop in and i would love to weave my magic on this mug and restore it to it's natural shine. The tide rings and general muck must be causing havoc when trying to create a vortex when stirring ?

I rest my point, it was actually a 294(b.bis), not the vanilla b, so 500gns was a reasonable price. Even for a fake, so one of the rofls is a fair cop.

Did you find the Crabtree “Flavian” I heard you were looking for?
