Hi All,

I won a chair on ebay on Tuesday night in Kent. What wasn't mentioned in the auction was that the chair needed to be collected by Friday (today).

I jumped on shiply and entered the details. The first quote I received was for £55, which I accepted (at 7am Wed morning). I rang the chap, confirmed he would collect on Thursday (yesterday).

I bank transferred the money for the collection, and that was that.

However, its not been picked up, and I can't for the life of me get hold of anyone from the company, and I was wondering if anyone in Kent knew of them or even knew if they existed. I'm trying to locate a land line number for them, with no luck.

The details I have are:

AET Transport.
Kings Prospect
Ashford
Kent
TN24 0GZ

Transport Provider contact information:
A.E.T
aet.info@yahoo.co.uk
Phone: 07902031487

I'm stuck, as I can't get down there today, I'm £55 out of pocket and they have vanished off the face of the earth!

Thanks
James

I did see that, but that was the 19th November. I contacted the chap (Russell) on the number above only yesterday morning to confirm details, however, he hasn't answered emails or phone calls since frown

Ok. No website always rings bells with me though.

Do 141 before the number to make it unknown. Maybe that would get an answer.

I never thought of that, Thanks smile

However, I have been talking to shiply direct. They have tried to contact him also and failed. They have given him 24 hours to contact me but neither the lady from shiply or me are holding our breath!!

Sorry to bump an old thread, this guy appears to be ripping everyone off.

It seems that of the jobs that he is actually doing (i.e. not ripping off the customer), he's then not paying his subcontractors for the work they've done.

I'm not a member of mtvan but I see this thread has been mentioned on their forum too.

I got lucky and Russell came good in the end after about 2 weeks of being pissed around by him, he got a driver in a dark blue coloured transit to deliver my chair for me.

Shiply refunded my fees (which amounted to about £16) which I have just now used as I have also just bought a bike which should be delivered tomorrow via a different courier company but also using shiply website. Hopefully they come good as well.

Yes I mentioned this on that thread on mtvan.

Sure you'll be ok with the next delivery, you were unlucky to come across this one bad one.

This is their (poor) website: http://www.aetcourier.co.uk

Do you have a link to their Shiply profile, or Shiply user name?
