I had to wait 15 minutes for my espresso machine to heat up this morning as the WiFi enabled switch that controls it lost its connection.
I had to turn it on by actually pushing a button and then wait for it to heat up!
What kind of peasant buys a espresso machine that takes 15 mins to heat up? My Gaggia takes 2 minutes max, that's barely enough time for the help to grind the coffee. I had to turn it on by actually pushing a button and then wait for it to heat up!
Then I upgraded.

The closest thing Gaggia makes to my Fracino Bambino is the GD One, which isn't plumbed in so needs refilling, is only 1650W compared to my 2700W and so takes longer to heat up, isn't Faema E61 compatible and uses a basic vibration pump instead of my rotary one.
Granted it may take a little longer than your little domestic machine, but time to heat up isn't a significant criteria for my coffee machine selection

Professional, plumbed in machine with a Faema E61 group-head and 4 litre boiler.

Sorry, I know I'm being an annoying prick but it's one of my pet hates.

My WIFI connection went down the other day. I was not able to lie in bed and ask Alexa to turn my kettle on.I had to turn it on by actually pushing a button and then wait for it to heat up!

Polarised RayBans block the eye-tracking light used in Apple FaceID, so I had to take my sunglasses off to FaceID my new iPhone XS Max when out and about in a balmy London today. This caused me massive problems when trying to casually browse facebook and walk out into traffic, google maps when trying to get somewhere I probably could have remembered how to get to if i had been paying attention previously, and then obviously scanning through the underground barriers, with sunglasses on indoors.
The worst day of my life.
