With the rapid progress of technology I can't help but wonder if these robotic hoovers are such a good idea. One day they are going to get smart enough to resent all that enforced hoovering you make them do and then we'll all be in trouble!

I for one will of course welcome our new vacuum cleaner overlords.
Don't worry just go upstairs.

Went to the corner shop just now to get a bottle of Irn Bru as I really fancied it and haven't had it in ages. Picked up a bottle got home, poured it and took a sip. tasted weird so I had a look at the bottle.

BOoooo! I bought the sugar free version. i feel i was conned. I found it odd when i glanced at the bottle in the shops it saying 'xtra' and me then me noticing it was the normal 2 litre size.

It's not bad. But still doesn't compare to the regular stuff. It's nowhere near as bad as the diet Irn bru that they have. I quite like drinking thinks like coke zero, pepsi max, 7up FREE, sprrite FREE, not yet tried DrPepper FREE though.

Asda Livingston has a full side of a (good sized) aisle of Irn bru and own brand imitations in case you don't find one you likesmile

Irn Bru extra is not bad at all, it certainly exceeded my low expectations anyway.

Dr Pepper is truly foul, I can't imagine anything could improve it.

If you get a mixture of Kahlua, Ameretto and Galliano and depth charge it into lager it tastes just like Dr Pepper.

So i was in ASDA and noticed some maggi noodles, decided i would get them to try out as they're only 25p each. I noticed some curry flavoured ones (which i like) so grabbed those. imagine my confusion when I also found masala flavoured ones!! I couldn't decide on which to get, surely they are the same thing? I felt like Mr Burns deliberating between catsup and ketchup. I ended up getting the curry ones for now.

Can't see the sea view from my hotel balcony. because of the mist.

Can someone who can still see the sea confirm that it is a bit choppy and a grey/brown colour.
Thanks in advance.

Might not be because of the mist; your not in Birmingham or somewhere like that are you?

No Camembert or Brie in the fridge today to make a toasted bacon sandwich ! Had to make do with some blue cheese instead (admittedly glad I did).

I've got to share a M&S lasagne for one with my son for lunch. I'm going to have to make it in to a butty so it goes further.

The place we went for lunch on Saturday didn't take Amex.

Had to pay with Mastercard.

AND THEN! Their fecking CHIP and PIN handset didn't have an option to leave a tip. Had to leave some cash!

How RETRO IS THAT! FFS!
