Good story if you're willing to suspend your disbelief and I would agree that it could make a good film. Especially if they stuck to the script of no CCTV so there is limited footage of the experiment, as these things are always best if the gruesome stuff is left to you imagination.

It could do with a good editor though. It might just be me but there seemed to be a few discrepancies in the number of test subject during the descriptions of what happened after they were released. I think the author got a bit confused in his writing which made me lose my engagement with the story a bit.

yes
It could play out exactly how it reads, port holes smeered then it doesn't show inside at all until the soldiers go in.

Would make a brilliant film IMO, "The Russian Sleep Experiment" sounds pretty cool too smile

"The Sleepless" was the name I had in mind, along with the tagline "what would you do after 15 days of no sleep?"

Could boost the viewing figures on Big Brother. " Day fifteen and Mikhail has just disembowelled himself". laugh
rofl I'd watch that.

Channel 4 did a show similar to Big Brother a few years ago where they deprived 10 or so people of sleep for ten days while doing small experiments on them, stuff like finding out if a yawn is actually contagious etc. I think they were allowed a few minutes to nod off before being woken up again. I don't remember any flaying or disembowelments though, shame.
They were deprived of sleep, except for the short periods where they were allowed to have a sleep.

I'd be very, very tired.

I certainly wouldn't have the energy to disembowel myself and others.
