maybe too ambitious.. always thought this was amusing for sheer lack of ambition...

Denzil: You ever thought of getting married, Trig?

Trigger: No, I haven't met the right person yet, but I've always had this sort of image of my perfect woman, sort of my dream girl.

Denzil: What's she like?

Trigger: Oh she's nothing to look at, very plain, little scar on her chin where she had a wart removed.

Was reading this in the paper before work this morning and the first 3 things at the start of the item was 5 ft 5, likes Man Utd and no tattoos, so at 7am this morning I scored 2 out of those 3.

Agreed with the music, like Dirty Dancing (but wouldn't say its my fave), and then started to miss out a few other things.

Still, it's better than the alternative, which was a Cheryl Cole or Denise Van Oulten lookalike hurl

4/12 here.
I'm not complaining with what who I've got though.
As a doctor with green eyes, at 5' 9'' and I don't like footie, I feel quite inadequate.

Training finally finished? Hurrah.

As a point of interest, my female colleagues often find that they struggle attracting men when they mention they are doctors. Perhaps the chaps they attract feel (intellectually) inadequate? Some have even gone so far to pretend they are nurses (or primary school teachers!) on early dates before 'breaking the bad news'.

I remember a funny radio interview where someone was talking about nurses being attractice - then a nurse phones in and asks what the attraction is - she then starts listing all the nasty stuff she has to do - like clean up old peoples poo etc - it was hilarious.

I'm on board with that - particularly if they drive a Classic Mini!

Yes thank goodness, how's yours going?

I don't tend to tell people, because you either get a cold response or 'I've got a bad shoulder/rash/heartburn/other symptom' and it's boring. I often say I work in a hospital and only divulge if asked further. Which I think is rather sad, actually. It's not something to be ashamed of!!

The Sun website, this is what majority of British Guys think the ideal girl is.

Survey finds Brit fellas prefer girlfriends to be nurses with brown hair, blue eyes, 5ft 5ins, 34C, Irish accent and no tattoos, who like footie and rock, eat meat, drink wine and drive Minis.

Sounds pretty spot on to me.
For me, not quite scratchchin red head, Scottish accent and drives a Lotus Elise and they might be on to something yes

I don't care about football so that is of no concern to me either

Final part of MRCGP exam end of this month. Fingers crossed.

Conversely, mentioning one is a doctor as a man gets the ladies rather interested.

it can work the other way as well. unless it was a means to an end [i.e. they were an amazing artist or something else which was their main passion] then i would be turned off my someone with a lowly job and no ambition.

my list:

dark haired
killer fringe
pretty eyes
retro dress sense [indie/60s girls]
natural
strong minded / strong willed
adventurous
well read, hates dance/pop music and celebrity culture
can cook [very rare ime!] and a foodie
loyal
funny

and a cracking arse!

i've dated from 5'2" to 6'1". prefer the taller girls.
dress size? 10-12 is the sweet spot for me. 14 if it's curves and not flab
