I used to work somewhere where Denise (not her name) used to go round and forcefully insist that everyone buy cakes for the office on their birthday (yes, birthday person to shell out). The place was a fair size, and for some reason people seemed to go along with it, so basically every day the kitchen bit was FULL of cakes, biscuits, sweets... consequently half the office was fat, including her.
