Wasn’t the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy done as a trilogy in 4 parts?

I posted the first picture some months ago. It was at my dentist waiting room. I could not change it at the time but on my last visit I was able to do so. The reception staff (who I asked permission) just said go ahead with what makes you happy. biggrin:

Now happier.

So you have now organised all of the set the wrong way around, end grain showing on the tops plus any weight put onto the top they won’t take, rotate 90 degrees and any weight is then transversed into the legs either side.

That only applies to the top/outer piece.

If the top "shelf" does collapse the weight will transfer through the legs of the second inner piece and if this then collapses into the legs of the smaller third inner piece smile

But each box will of itself be stronger if the joints are in compression.

If possible the 2 inner boxes should also be rotated through 90 degrees if it is collapsible strength you are after

And, whilst we're at it, spacers so the inner gap at the bottom is consistent with the top. Details, people bangheadwink

Some z-axis rotation is probably a good call too.
