Is that a blue parrot?
Norwegian. Lovely plumage.
Parrot seems to have an odd neighbour.

I usually chop my wood on a circular table saw when it is windy, zero noise for the neighbours.

Late January, 3c, 50mph gusts, pissing down with rain....

The ‘tard next door is taking a chainsaw to his decking. I believe he is repairing as opposed to demolishing. Guy is semi-retired. Why the fk?

Appears he also has an incredibly steep garden rolleyes
I’m not getting your issue. Are you saying he should only use his chain saw on fine sunny days when people are in their gardens and want quiet?

I often do such jobs in those conditions knowing none of the neighbours will then be inconvenienced. I don’t like using noisy kit when neighbours are wanting to use their gardens.

It’s January, in Scotland. Nobody is ever out in their gardens. Trust me, this guy doesn’t care when he makes noise - he’s constantly making noise, it has f-all to do with keeping the neighbours happy.

Who in their right mind fixes their decking with a chainsaw in the pissing rain/sleet in January - especially when they’re semi-retired and could wait for a better day?! It won’t even be nice enough to sit out until April at least. It’s odd.

You may have a point. He does have a wood burning stove and does steal wood for it from nearby forests, despite the fact he can easily afford to buy it like everyone else.

I'm sensing that you don't like this guy much, so anything he does would irritate you ?

If you like odd neighbour stories then I can recommend searching for jessie31 on YouTube, she lives next door to a 'hillbilly' and appears to be making a few bob out of her when you look at the view counts.
I've just lost 2 hours of my life to this... I kinda love Billy and I'm just sooo jealous of Neb (her boyfriend). Thanks for the heads up, I'm going back in for more later on. laugh
Damn, I feel cheated gullible i just found out the whole thing is staged.

I really dont understand my new neighbour. I say new the parent left and sold the house to the daughter and her partner.

They get up in the morning & then move the car off the drive, parking it outside my house............... then walk to work leaving the drive empty & not 1 other car is parked on the road.

Why? Who knows

I'd be soooo tempted to park on their drive.

It did cross my mind.

I think its more to annoy the bellends opposite them who try taking over the place by never using the drives and parking on the road. So now when they come home they have to park elsewhere and next door can park on the drive.

I have 4 cars myself yet mine are all on the drive. I have the same space as them both. Think I am to considerate lol

I'd be parking my least precious of the 4 cars outside my house to stop that behaviour.

Why? What difference does it make to you if someone parks in the street somewhat near your house? It's really not worth bothering with.
