As is my tradition I’ve purchased a cigar to smoke after baby number four is born in the next couple of weeks (days, hours).
Living in SE Asia means humidity which cigars apparently like so I was told it ok to just leave it in its tube until I’m ready, or more accurately baby is ready.

Can't really go wrong with a Cohiba!Living in SE Asia means humidity which cigars apparently like so I was told it ok to just leave it in its tube until I’m ready, or more accurately baby is ready.
This is new to me, I found I enjoyed a cigar this year (I never thought I would tbh) whilst fishing in Scotland. A friend was smoking Monti no.2 and said I should have one, if nothing more than to try a keep the pesky midges away!. I agreed somewhat reluctantly as its something that has never interested me and I thoughts its a waste as I wouldn't appreciate it but actually enjoyed it.
Taking an hour to myself and having nothing else to focus on other than a cigar and a drink is a luxury, hectic lives means times to relax are not too common and perhaps that's one of the big pulls. Anyway a few sticks purchased the weekend past to sample some different flavors.
This one has been smoked and for my newbie taste I really enjoyed it.
These are to try over the coming weeks
And a new lighter as a treat :-)

You have some very good cigars lined up to try there. I love the R&J Wide Churchills and also I am a big fan of Bolivar, Partagas and Cohiba. Hoyo are lovely, aromatic cigars, but a little too light for my taste these days. I don't recognise the other one.Taking an hour to myself and having nothing else to focus on other than a cigar and a drink is a luxury, hectic lives means times to relax are not too common and perhaps that's one of the big pulls. The lighter looks good, I have just started using a Collibrio V cutter and it is a lovely bit of kit, and I can't believe it has taken me until now to discover the v cut...

The Hoyo was nice but not my favourite so far, the other one is a Cavalier white series, I believe a Geneva company ( if my pigeon french understood correctly lol) really enjoyed it. I would say light to medium but I could be completely wrong! but a very smooth smoke and will for sure be a regular for me. Thanks for the heads up on a V cut, I will pick one up next time.
I am in London on the 7th of November for business and thought I would pop into JJ Fox to use the lounge.
