Also glad its not just me hehe what is even worse is I had a clear out at the beginning of the year and gave a load to a local homeless shelter, I also have a dozen or so classic ones in a vac bag for prosperity sake!
Are they worth a lot?
Probably not, some of the weird fish stuff maybe but its more sentiment than anything! Some are quite collectible, none that i have though

Machmeter Mk 2 off an English Electric Canberra.

This site got me wondering if having a .30 cal Browning from a Spitfire in my living room would make me look a little weird in front of Tinder dates.

Thankfully I managed to restrain myself.

Was looking at this fully built up at the lego store in Disney Springs last week and it doesn't look particularly impressive at all imo
I've just seen it in the Milton Keynes store and I thought completely the opposite, it's huge and packed with loads of detail.
Pre-release sold out fast this morning! There was a feeding frenzy.
Pre-release? - where was this?- I thought had to wait until October1st frown
I heard by chance that the pre-release was for the VIP customers - simply register - and you could buy on the 14th Sept at 7:30. Website crashed, but thought I'd ordered 1 and they charged me for 2, which arrived 2 days ago. Crikey, they're huge boxes!

saw this again in the Metrocentre lego store, still decidedly underwhelmed at it and it actually looked even smaller due to how it was being displayed than when I saw it in Orlando!

I'd give you £650 cash and I'll collect it this weekend if you are willing to sell?

ETA - Just seen they are selling for £900 on eBay so you would be silly to sell to me. I'll hold out for lego to get more stock. But if you did want to sell I could be in Edinburgh for 2 on Sunday (I would need to catch the train from Birmingham).

As a previous poster has said they are already going for 900 on eBay, no point me offering to pay face value plus postage plus a bit for some beers.... frown

Er, the phone. It's all vaporware at the moment, though. We will see...

I view Jim Jannard as the Elon Musk of the camera world. Happy to bank-roll both of them in return for a truly innovative product.

The world needs more people like them IMO.

It's a phone, made by people who make very good digital camera gear.

It has a "holographic" display which solves the problem we all have - of having to carry another device to enjoy multidimensional content. The details are a little light but being serious for a moment, if they make phones the way they make cameras it will probably be pretty great. But probably not available on contract from vodafone...

Edit - this is from Red themselves - as I say a little light on detail:

hehe

I'm a sucker for anything to do with lasers, holograms or high-end cameras.

I'm hoping they'll have an optional laser attachment, otherwise I'll just have to add my own to create a device with all 3 in 1!
