The Talkabout - I still have one (TA200) so a replacement pair that would also be compatible with this would be handy. As would them being waterproof rolleyes
I have T80 Extremes which are IPx4 water resistant (splashing, rain etc. are OK) but they have survived severe drenchings OK. The T92s are IP67 so can be submerged, and they float too wink
Yes. Budget creep is showing its face once again....
Stand down on the Walkie Talkies... the mate who's son managed to lose the Motorola overboard came through with a delivery to me today of : https://www.cobraelectronics.co.uk/two-way-radios/...

I just bought a new iron.

£106 from Amazon.

Not that it's something I didn't need, i did need a new iron but I guess not one at over 100 bones.

It's gone up £13 already so that's providing some sort of justification already.

The bronze trim is a nice touch. Same colour scheme as our Velar laugh you must have gone for the HSE version!

I'd go for the new Free over the Wave - all tools locking and accessible one handed...
They're not traditional multi tools though without pliers.

IMO the Swisstools are far better built than Leathermans but the OHO on the Wave for some of the tools is useful.

There are two types of tool in the Free series - pocket tools (as in, a Swiss army penknife style) and multitools, which have proper pliers...

Just browsing the range to try and find the old gem I had before.

I can't find any bargains anywhere though frown

lol yeah the colour looks good in the flesh and the more I use it the less frivolous a purchase it seems. Made light work of some quite difficult Hackett shirts and a few others I have which are a bar steward to iron properly. I'm a bit too fussy with ironing though. I used to iron already ironed shirts by my ex and she would say I've done that one...really? what with? A Mars bar?

According to one of the staff, commoners reuse their clothes and thus require a means to remove the creases after washing.
Seems like a lot of effort, just buy new!

They also have a very advanced genetically coded security system built in which means only people with XX chromosomes can drive them.

It doesn't get much more frivolous than a broken engine for decorating your man grotto.

Edited to add newer, cheaper version with noise cancelling: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Headphones-TaoTronics-Wat...
Bought these too - seem pretty good, certainly better than my last pair, but not convinced the noise cancelling works. Does it need to be turned on somehow? Don't recall seeing any instructions in what passed for a user manual.

Dodgy advertising. The mic is noise cancelling, not the headphones themselves.

Still, not bad for twenty quid.

Knowing how much followers of this thread like some headphone action, it seemed reasonable to drop today's Costco purchase in here.

Quite literally... head... phones.

And frivolous, because I bought some expensive wireless headphones just a few weeks ago.

I thought there was a separate thread created for the (non) frivolous headphone purchasers to occupy?
