Unlike those things called photocopiers or even pressing print and asking it to print 5 copies on normal printers.
I can see the appeal of making multiple copies of "handwritten" Christmas cards though. If you're the kind of person who sends out loads of Christmas cards. I've received printed "handwritten" cards before now and they look unbelievably naff and impersonal. Ones that look like they have been written, even if they have been done so by a robot, would probably fool me though.
But I realise that this post is not in the spirit of the thread, so as you were.

I don't sleep very well - I have a cycle of insomnia and ok sleep that has been going on for years, and never have worked out what causes the periods of insomnia.
My FitBit Alta has a sleep monitor function, but it isn't very accurate as it only has movement to go on and assumes I am asleep when I am not moving whereas actually I'm awake.
So I just spent £130 on a dedicated sleep monitor that senses movement and breathing. It qualifies for this thread because all it's really going to tell me is what I know already, which is that I don't sleep very well.
Still, it's a cool gadget.

Am I right in thinking that you draw something on your phone/tablet and it draws it on papers there by adding a completely unnecessary step and expense to simply doodling on paper......if so then your sir have totally got this thread, unlike these tools posting use stuff like hats and tools
Yup, that's pretty much it. Wife was...delighted when I unveiled it, it being only the latest in a long line of pointless crowdfunded tat Only advantage is you can knock out multiple copies so thinking we might do Christmas cards etc. with it.

^ Is this the new Ultimate Collector's Edition Falcon?
Nails and heads. I wanted the original that was released ~10 years ago, but was discontinued before I got chance to buy one. This one is going for silly money on a well-known internet auction website - but seems to be readily available from John Lewis, which is where I bought it.
IMO, much ‘tidier’ and better looking than the previous one, although the Lego Police will be all offended if they read that. Very big (wider than my bay window, it seems), very heavy, 20 hours of building - now need a display case...

Anther KS special, my Line-us robotic drawing thingy, arrived today. App is a bit peculiar on a phone (better on tablet or PC) but it works brilliantly and is keeping the kids amused during half term.
This is brilliant.Edited by loudlashadjuster on Monday 12th February 17:16
Could it handwrite a letter and sign it?

Absolutely. By design though it's a little bit 'wobbly' so wouldn't be a perfect facsimile, but close enough and it definitely looks handwritten. You can easily recognise different people's handwriting, for instance.Could it handwrite a letter and sign it?

I don't understand why you would write on a tablet screen when the pen and paper are at the side of you?

Ohh where is that from? I have a need for something just like that!My falcon isn’t going to live where it is, I don’t think - I have a small display of Vulcan engine parts which used to be there. I’m planning on building a stand which will tilt the model up to about 50-60 degrees (yes it’s safe, plenty of people have done it) then finding a display case.
Or just let it get dusty and save a few hundred quids...
ETA: my house is quite small (shoulda thoughta that, before buying a mahoosive model, I suppose) so a lie-down display isn’t really practicable.

So, Wyze cameras. I have two, and quite like them - at $50 for the pair, it would be rude not to like them. Decent quality, some neat features. They announced a version 2 today. I've ordered another pair...now I've got to work out where to put them.
I think I will try one or two of these, they do look good for the price. However, there were 13 5 star glowing reviews yesterday alone on their website, seems a bit suspicious to me
Not doubting they are good, but just seems a bit of a coincidence that 13 people decided to add such great reviews of them all at once...
