Have you used this stuff before? If so, just how effective is it? It looks like the kind of product I want to try this Spring on my patio / blockwork etc.
I’ve tried it on the flags and it wasn’t very effective but it works well on walls. We’ve got White rendered walls on the house that go green, a spray with Wet and Forget keeps them white for 2 years. I think it’s £18 for 5 litres at Costco at the moment.alorotom said:

The Aisle(s) of Wonder in both Aldi and Lidl are also difficult to walk through without making frivolous purchases.

Yes, I bought one of those a year or so ago. When I went to finally use it at the end of December to change onto the Winter wheels I found that my compressor wasn't up to it. (In fairness, my compressor is one of those suitcase style ones that doesn't have an air tank, so it's hardly surprising)

In the true spirit of frivolity then, they also currently have a reasonably sized compressor in said aisle! YKYWT (In fairness, my compressor is one of those suitcase style ones that doesn't have an air tank, so it's hardly surprising)

I went to Costco this morning for some ‘wet and forget’ which was on offer, £4 off at the moment. Spent £257 on stuff I don’t really need but I’ve got a new gas bbq and cooler box for the one night a year I go camping with the kids!
Also I’ve had my eye on one of these for a while:
If all else fails you could pretend it's a drum kit Also I’ve had my eye on one of these for a while:
A slightly less frivolous start to March with these:
The cheap Nextbase dashcam on the Shed was playing up and I decided to order the Yi which is recommended by Techmoan: http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2016/2/17/yi-dash-cam... Fortunately there was a code on Amazon and I think I snagged it for around £37. Of course with regular driving in the snow, the Nextbase has corrected itself and is working happily.
I found I never had a screwdriver handy so I ordered this from eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDC-Outdoor-Tool-Screwd...
It took weeks to arrive from China, but has the 4 screwdriver tips, 2 sizes of hex, a LED torch and a bottle opener. All for the princely sum of £2.52 delivered. Now for £2.52 I thought it would be badly made junk. But no. The packaging and instructions are for CKRT - Columbia River & Tool in the USA - who supply pretty decent stuff. On their website they sell it for $19.99.

Ring video doorbell
Brilliant piece of kit
From where and how much? I quite fancy one, considering nobody really visits it would be very frivolous indeed Brilliant piece of kit
I got it off eBay but they are in curry’s and Argos
Honestly people are avoiding me at work because they are sick of hearing about it.
Make sure you get the interior bell as well.
Battery level seems up and down. I reckon it’ll be a month between charges,
But I’m dead pleased with it

I’m looking at running a constant USB feed to ours
These emergency lights to keep in the car. I strongly suspect I'll never need them but saw them on eBay and thought they were quite cool.
Hook/magnet on the backs and fairly bright LEDs as a torch. Then orange LEDs to serve as warning lights similar to using a warning triangle if you break down.

Eh? You have the take the doorbell off, bring it inside to recharge? Doesnt that kinda defeat the point... what if someone comes when the doorbell is inside?
If you have an old fashioned door bell at the moment you can use the existing wires to power the ring (you just screw them in - that’s it) and also it will sound your old bell so you don’t need a new one. I have one and it works great. I just upgraded my 2010 Kindle 3 to a new Kobo H2O Edition 2. It's a bit frivolous as I've only read maybe three books in the last five years. I used to read all the time when I commuted by train, but I've been driving to work for the last five years.
I fitted a new battery in my old Kindle a year ago and it still works like new, but the Kobo has a clever "front lit" screen that you can give a variable tint of orange, which makes it ideal for night time reading in the dark without causing eyestrain and it cuts out the blue light that keeps you awake.
The only issue to consider when moving from Kindle to another ereader brand is that books purchased for the Kindle through Amazon will be DRM locked. This isn't insurmountable, but it is fiddly and needless to say, I won't be buying any books that are DRM locked in future.
