More frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need..

I'm going to Canada for all of August to see family and catch up with some mates.
I lived there when I was 21, and had a banger of an e34 that me and my mates did road trips in.
I spotted an incredible 1992 735i on craigslist, it's 10 minutes from my cousins house in vancouver and only 800 quid.
He's just sent me his bank details so he can buy it for me!

Ha, just found it. Nice and probably cheaper than a hire car for the month. I lived there when I was 21, and had a banger of an e34 that me and my mates did road trips in.

Not sure this is frivilous but I'm getting a new desk and I'm not a fan of clutter so I've backed this to save having a cable on the desk https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-invisible-f...

I was working on a hotel build a couple of years ago and we were putting them into the bar, I thought it was a great idea but my colleagues had other views and thought it would be far too easy for your phone to get nicked.RammyMP said:

I agree. In a public place it is madness but a nice thought for your desk at home. I saw a desk build where a guy milled the underside of his out and placed a charger in the cavity. Worked well (or so he said) and was really clean.I’ve already got a pair of “in ear” wireless/Bluetooth Sony headphones, as well as a pear of over ear Sony headphones, so I thought I probably needed a pair of over wireless/Bluetooth Sony headphones (which also come with a cable so they can be used as a wired pair).
They were “only” £65 and although second hand from the TZ-UK sales forums (watch site), I can’t see a mark on them and they look brand spanking new. A quick bit of pre-purchase “due diligence” (thirty seconds on Amazon) and I bought them. They arrived this morning and are currently charging up.
I very rarely listen to anything with headphones, so obviously a third set that I won’t use was just what I needed.

After buying a Ricoh Theta SC and being very impressed with being able to take full 360 pics and vids I decided in needed a 4K version.
Enter the Xiaomi Mi Sphere: arrived yesterday and the quality is amazing.
I have no idea what I’ll use it for, I’m no photography buff and don’t even own a camera as such, plus I only use my iPhone for photos of my daughter and the dog (and occasionally the wife)
