About to pull the trigger on this.

Im going to strip out the internals and put a RPi in there and use it as an internet wireless radio.

where the cassette hole is will be a adafruit and the buttons will be reprogrammed for sound and channel changing.

I will sort out the needles to just bounce around and finally rip apart a sound bar to attach to the front of it for the sound.

Reto 70s styling with latest tech...

So much like when they were originally released then?
Yes .... I mainly used mine to show my friends the 'amazing' graphics on a CD+G. I think it was only a Fleetwood Mac album.

At first I thought this was a Sega Meg Drive which was the replacement for my atari lol What exactly is it?

Yeah I did much the same as you but went for the Sport with black strap. It is pretty cool though!
It's only a matter of time before I get one, did you get the big one or the smaller one?

It plugged into the Sega Megadrive and let you play games off of CD's rather that cartridges (so more space etc..). Nothing that I remember used the extra-space well.

I sold it relatively quickly when the 3DO came out. I still have that somewhere.

Cheapest place is here:

http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Smart-2-Whee... - Works out about £230 inc postage and import duty

@Trif: To be fair, casey launches his up and down stairs and kerbs every day, no surprise!

@Toxic nerve: Flippin ages, supposed to be 35km.

It great on pancake smooth paths, however paving slabs etc are much more tricky

I've already got two coffee machines on the kitchen top but at £15 this seemed like a bargain! Will do for making a brew for the drive to work!

My iPhone 5 that I've had since launch day has been gradually getting worse on its battery life so I decided to replace the battery. I got one for £5 from eBay, watched the video on you tube and got on it. I don't know how I did it but some how I've managed to kill the cellular antenna, I tried both batteries but neither make any difference, it's kippered.

I need the phone for work so there's no option to wait and get it fixed. A quick trip to the local apple shop later and I've now got an iPhone 6, along with a leather case. The store also had the watches in so I bought a 42mm black sport too. So a £5 battery change has cost me nearly a grand eek

£360 on ebay

Never been used and came with the original 1970's box and papers.

10 points if you can guess what it is. Hint; the thing with the handle on it in the first pic has a small spark plug on the end of it.
