Yep sorry I’ve drawn you into that hole!!

I do love those guys though, i have bough three RC models from them when they have a sale advertised, they often do 50-60% off, so i buy them anyway!!!

I also do man maths and justify purchases like that engine as the glow plug alone is probably worth almost 9 euros !!

Also guys, these engines really benefit from the correct run in procedure, so I recommend following this process to the letter.

Thanks for the guide, I suspect you are in the wrong thread and assume we are all going to use the engines!

Mines going to sit in the garage in the "ill need that one day" pile

Perfect desk ornament there.

Beside the muffler, what else would one need, if in theory, one wanted a fully working engine mounted on a plinth in ones' office...?

I'm not sure I could get away with straight pipes - I get enough dirty looks when I turn up at work in the TVR.

It’s a beautiful piece of engineering in its own right, so would be perfect for that!!

Also have some rear buggy tyres and rims in the basket (with the engine and gasket), despite having unopened ones in the garage!

I reckon just an engine mount and a clutch bell for starting it.

This looks nice if its the right size.

And ads to the tech engineering look for display purposes too!!

Ummmm.... yeah... the garage is also full of that, unused!

And... 4 x unused (by me) 1/12 pan cars (2 unbuilt), 1 x unused (by me) 1/10 pan car, Tamiya Hornet needing a rebuild, 2 x VBC Firebolts (1 x DM, 1 x DM2 unbuilt) and numerous unpainted shells and things.

I could be locked down for months and not get anywhere as my 1/1 car rebuild project takes up the spare time! I'll get there, slowly..

I am also now on Hobby King looking for more bargain LiPos, despite having loads... unused, obvs frown

It entertains me massively, one tip have everyone you're sending them to lined up, because after each one it offers you 20% off the next within 5 mins or so, so if you're sending a few it can add up.

So far I've had complete new peripherals for my PC. Two large LED mouse mats, a new watch, I have a new guitar arriving this afternoon & this morning I took a collection of 240 toothpicks of various flavours, quite tasty to sit and chew but why the hell did I spent £20 on toothpicks.
