Some of you might have seen the smarter everyday YouTube channel.

Basically he explains science and stuff usually with slow mo videos and stuff. Very easy watching and usually very good.

Anyway, his latest video he explains a bit about his previous job (which happens to be very cool)
Anyway as part of that previous job a 4 star US general asked him to make a video about the future of war.
Fascinating

Interview With a Cruiser - Bamba Maru - Sailing for a Smile

Bamba Maru is more than just a 50 year old catamaran, it is home to Andy and Johanna, and a way for them to help others with a project called Sailing for a Smile. They set out 5 years ago with plans to sail the world and found purpose along the way by using their boat as a base to help those in need after devastating hurricanes hit Caribbean islands.

Just caught up with this and it was a good episode, it's really starting to look like a car at last.

I stand corrected. I saw a "making of" years ago and they used wires and camera tricks. I thought the advert was at least 20 years old.

Also I looked up CGI and forms of it were around much earlier then I thought.

It's quite possibly a mix of both then, ie real kids, camera trickery with digital manipulation post filming.

One of my kids can actually do this, albeit not at this kind of speed. Freak.

Smith and Sniff. Objectively I'm pretty certain this is awful, but it might be the best video I've ever seen. Are they really doing this on purpose? hehe

Edit - linked to the wrong video?!
