I’ve always wondered that these adverts asking you to adopt a particular donkey or starving kid in Africa for just £5 per month just have a bank of, say, 10 photos of particularly cute donkey/kids and send them out in rotation to the gullible and just send out generic updates to everyone whilst begging you to up your contribution.

Wonder if they mix them up as well,

“Dobbin needs to go to School, can you help?”
Hmmm, starving kids and surplus donkeys. I think I may have spotted a way of streamlining the process and saving a lot of money.

Can we assume by the '9' he is sporting on the beacons that there are at least eight other like minded individuals, or is it a 'Seal Team Six' type misdirection and he is indeed flying solo?
I reckon that 9 is to do with CB radio or similar, over
I think it’s like thunderbirds. 8 is a guy with a bike, 7 might be someone’s cb at home. 6 is the poor guys wife’s pushchair when she takes the kids for a walk. 5 is his embarrassed daughter etc.

The devil in me really wants to report that some Swans are being attacked in the local pond and see this dude lose his sh!t completely.

"Doris, The swans need me!!!! Pack my thermos flask whilst I fire up the fast response Focus!!" DORIS! is that a 10-4! Respond Swan-watch 7!

I'm going to go as far to say that he keeps the car on a block heater so he's prepared for a winter time emergency dash.

Can anyone make out the plate? I read it as AP54 PWD. I’m betting it has an interesting MOT history.

25 January 2008 - FAIL
Reason(s) for failure
•Windscreen has a sticker or other obstruction encroaching by more than 10mm within zone 'A' (8.3.1b)

Only just noticed it actually says “Ambulance” in reversed type across the top of the windscreen.
Totally illegal.
