Puma Speed Cat discontinued?

I have the (dark, not like on the link provided) blue pair (no Sparco branding) in a size 9 if anyone is interested. Brand new, never worn - have kept my black ones for karting duties. Didn't keep the box sadly - not that I'm aware of, anyway.

Pretty much all sizes available, at least were back end last week and 15% discount works. Blue ones arrived this am.

Are the blue ones as bright as they look in the photos?

Yes, much lighter/brighter than the old ones. Not unpleasant though.

The red is also a bit different, got a pair of them via Italy, and am on my last pair of the old vintage, so can see it.

The prices seem to have shot up though. The last pair I bought (very tasteful dark brown suede with no white swoosh) were under £40 from a Puma outlet store.

Yes they have doubled since I bought my last pair a few years ago, I think I paid forty odd quid, standard Puma not Sparco branded as they weren't doing them then, but it was exactly the same shoe.

Been watching this thread with interest over the last year or so. I’m someone who paid way more than I should have for a second hand pair of Puma SpeedCats from eBay.

Was randomly browsing DemonTweaks and saw that they have the Sparco SpeadCats in stock: https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/puma-speedcat-spar...

Anyone seen these? Wasn’t sure if the Sparco versions have been more available in the past, but they’re tagged as new items on the site. Maybe someone read this thread and saw the demand!

They are VERY close fitting so you’ll need half a size up at least.
