That was old Bob himself. He told it better than me too.

Indeed, was it not his parents he was referring to in that joke? Saw him live once, a truly brilliant evening.

I have made a crude flag pole extension from a long rod like piece of metal found by the road side and will try it out this weekend when I will be camping for one night.

I will be flying the Swedish flag as that was also purloined when discarded by a local at an event in 2015.

Cool.

Well, I've managed to catch a nice roach. And a couple of small carp, although the highlight of the day has to be the Bacon Banjo. Lovely.

Purloined Swedish Flag?

It was lying on the ground, discarded at the end of an event,I couldn't stop myself from taking it.
It's a decent size too,maybe 24"x 18".

Too large a measuring device there sir, think more in double Decker buses.

About 2.5.

Or 1 football pitch.

Particularly when I found that two of a Jaguar X-Type's four tyres were delaminating.

Remoulds!

I thought they were illegal.

Good God that's shocking.

I'd rather have the partially aroused ones.

Well done on your high post count chap. I'm still in short trousers on that score.

And lastly from the Pushfit Archives on the subject of flags. As the statute of limitations it up now:
'Found' at Le Mans 1997, a Union Jack. Carried, nay hauled, back to the UK and looked at in more detail. Only then realised how big - 18' x 26' it was. Covered the side of my mate Spadges barn conversion on VE day in 2005. He told his mrs he bought it from a Frenchman who had lots for sale.
Unfortunately she then saw the writing in the corner : HMS Endurance.
Oops
