Trying to explain to the kids the concept of finding a balance point in a handstand under control rather than just throw yourself at the ground and hope for the best.

Rather pleased that when it came to a practical demonstration I didn't end up as a candidate for You've Been Framed with all the viewers tutting and shaking their heads in a "look at that tragic fat old man" stylee.

Yeah! First handstand in at least a decade winner

We'd need to bring the beds down to him. He's not allowed upstairs since the en-suite debacle.

Got an old friend visiting today. Last time I met him I managed to impale myself on a fishing hook.

See if I can get through today without buggering anything up...

Viper Spotting.

Odd name for a boy. I blame the parents. The Berkshire Spottings? Funny bunch. Made their money in end-of-the-pier entertainments but always denied it.

The short answer to that is no I can't.

I've just dropped a cup of coffee in the kitchen, burnt my finger trying to catch it.

Went to get a dustpan & brush, the bloody cupboard door's fallen off. One of the hinges has broken.

It's like an episode of Bottom in here at the moment. It's not even half past eight yet.

Morning fatboy. Looks a nice day at the Ring, much to report?

If you're leaving that bit of egg & bacon, my old dog'll have it.

You back in yet Nik?

We generally don't bother going outside these days, just lean out of the window in the first floor East Wing kitchen.

Not even covered on the CCTV. Keep it to yourself, mind.

Postmen and delivery drivers won't come near our place these days, what with Penrose and the dog.

Normally leave it all with the neighbour.

13.55 here.
