They are shooting at our late night buses now

Bus company is threatening to stop running late night buses. It's a very pleasant semi rural route, the buses are busy, even leaving Reading at 11pm. Just so happens all the attacks are happening yards from a permanent traveler site. But notice how no one mentions them...

Shoot back.

You have got to read this.

Flowers in the shape of a transit van, a caravan, vodka bottles, boxing ring.

Family sticking their fingers up and people throwing rocks.

I once had an engine replaced by a scrapyard, the engine which I'd supplied was no good. They took it back out, found a decent engine, fitted it and off their bat went after the bloke who sold me the dodgy engine and got me my money back.

I live right next door to a showman's winter pitch and you'd really never know they were there, they're polite, quiet and easy to get on with.
Showmen really aren't the same as s/actual travellers/whatever you want to call them, though.

Tyrone family's €420,000 injury claim dismissed - there was 'no accident'

In a multiple damages claim for personal injuries totalling €420,000, a judge has held that a piece of plastic from a people carrier had been planted on a lorry to suggest there had been an impact between the two vehicles.

Actually a very nice house in the right hands!

Why hasn't the insurance sorted the damage?!

Iirc it was repaired, but then a lorry was reversed into it again accompanied by some petrol bombs... related to the continuing feud with some travellers graves being desecrated and the skulls removed... there is another house nearby that has also been rammed a couple of times.

Little tinkers...

This one just down the road has history. I am sure it had the front door boarded up at somepoint..

Precisely. That comment is as relevant in this context as "I live next door to someone who drives a white car" or "I live next door to someone who wears a red cost on Wednesdays". Zero comparison; in fact, when tracensoreders tried to pitch up in a small town near here where there is a resident showman family, it was the showman's family who got rid of them PDQ, not the local council.

It did, I’m pretty sure it also received some damage as well either fire or a car driven into it

My mistake, they're just another group of itinerant people of no fixed abode, who speak their own language.

Is Pistonheads now the Daily Mail or something, it just seems to be full of angry racists ranting about stuff.

It's probably a tribute to the Post Office van he once held up.
