From the Labour party manifesto - "We will end racism and discrimination
against Gypsy, Roma and Traveller
communities, and protect the right
to lead a nomadic way of life."

So Labour will protect them so they can steal and st on authority?

There's 7 or 8 caravans and associated vehicles in the car park that I use by the train station. They've been there since the weekend. Obviously the 'no caravans' instruction on the station car parking boards didn't faze them. They also don't seem to have to go through the daily process of stuffing money into the pay and display machine that I routinely do every day, along with all the other commuters.
Rubbish all over the place, stuff littered around, clothes drying line set up in the middle between 2 trees. Last night when leaving I had to stop twice to avoid hitting children (2 or 3 years old at most) who were playing in amongst the cars and generally just wondering around in the middle.

And that's really sickening. Witnesses, video evidence, no arrests.

Not good enough police, this is why they do it.

Loveridge, 29, of Chertsey Road, Woking, Surrey, and Crawt, 24, of Beaconsfield Road, West Sussex have been released on bail

How can they be travelers if they have a house

Well a couple of their usual spots in Basingstoke are no more having been built on.
Ha fking ha.
There is one little bit of grass they still squat on so on my way to work last week at around 4am I gave a long blast on the horn and some extra revs through the Triumph's derestricted tailpipe.
It's a safety thing....don't want their dags or kids running in to the road when I ride past.

I may well have seen your Triumph around the area, is it a dark red colour ? If it is, it sounded fruity, lovely sound.

We had some of the nomadic rascals up near the Sainsbury's a little while back. They left an absolute heap of garbage and human waste behind.

Culturally enriching the area of course.

I posted that on the "Canterbury Residents Group" FB page for Canterbury last night. That group is known to have a significant traveller element in it's 15,000 strong membership. I got the immediate "racist" and "we don't do any harm, we just park up for a few days" and "don't pick on us" responses, which I expected. What I didn't expect was that the whole post disappeared after about 15 minutes.

I did actually contact the group admin to ask why he'd pulled it. He sent me a detailed reply, explaining just how much these people also affect his own life, and eventually deduced that Facebook themselves had pulled the post for being "hate related".

Untouchables.

All travellers have a permanent address. Many will have the same address and it will be occupied by some cousin or grandma who has given up life on the road. They need to have an address to register their many vehicles at.

There's a few just landed next to a primary school in Wrexham.
Lots of comments on the Facebook page, not too many racist ones so it's not been pulled yet.
