Off topic a bit but isn’t this going to be the future? Those tats that maybe look cool as a 20/30 year old start to look a bit silly as you age. The pic above is a classic example, looks good for her age until you see her arms, then screams, I wanna be cool.
Almost everyone has a leg or sleeve tat these days so seeing ‘elderly’ people with extensive tattoos will become the norm.
Tattoo removal will be big business, probably franchises in every high street

But it doesn’t really work that well. I had laser removal of a tattoo and it was effective on blacks and greys but much less so on reds and blues. It was over 10 years ago so may have moved on. You end up with everything except red and blue gone so then would be left with random blue and red bits.

This thread's so disingenuous.

Same person, same year. Not caught walking their dog.

Looks ridiculous with all those tattoos.
.
Agreed. Horrible.

It's great that everyone thinks different things.

I'm happy to admit that I am baffled by tattoos, it's inconceivable to me that anyone would do something like that to themself.

You are either a tattoo person, or you aren't...for me, she looks amazing, I'm just surprised her feet aren't also covered.

I think this is something people that don't get tattoos always struggle with; they aren't for everyone's viewing pleasure, they are for the person that has them...and they don't care about other people's opinions.

If they're for the person that has them and not the 'viewer' how come the tattooed person can only see most of them properly by looking at themselves in a photo taken by someone else ? They're usually upside down or back to front from their view or even in places they can't see at all smile

For clarification, I have tattoos!
I still don’t think they look particularly good as you get older. They start to blur and fade and generally look a bit of a mess.

Because you know you have them, and you carry the experience with you...its quite hard to articulate, and ironically the more you have, the more you only see the gaps smile

I like the weathered pieces I have that have been exposed to the sun, as much as the pristine bits that are never seen...I guess personal preference, and maybe how heavily tattooed you are? smile

I think they are nice in an artistic sense but she looks a little too mature for them.

Still, overall she looks lovely to my eyes

Move along gang. There's other threads to subject the pixels to your bizarre denigrating bias.

Remember folks, live your own lives, and feel free not to judge others. If the need overcomes you to voice your sexual misanthropy, use your inside voice.
