How does one go about finding some history on a pair of of Superstars? I have a pair - bought from Sportie LA in 2003/4 which is part of a collection that i am moving on. But in this case i can't find anything remotely even close to them on the web. Is there a complete list of serial numbers somewhere for superstars, or do we have any experts here?

Message @dave.lurky on Instagram, would be my suggestion. The guy is a Superstar connoisseur so may be able to help. I'm not sure if he usually does that sort of thing but he's the biggest name I know of with regards to the Superstar.

Just ordered some adidas Bermudas (black and green) and chrome campus (for the wife).

I'm quite taken with the notion of the grey nubuck Campus, but will probably hold off in the hope of a sale.

My most recent purchase has been a pair of blue Puma Suede S (the 'S' model has a different tongue design and sole unit but is otherwise the same general shape). The quality of Puma's suede always impresses me.

Wow, how are they down in price already? The new Campus lines are only out, aren't they? I hadn't expected an opportunity to buy them cheaply so soon... I might actually have to wait on these. Cheers mate, End is one place I never think to check out for some reason.

Probably not the purpose of this thread but here are my most out-there pair of trainers. Bough them in LA around a decade ago. Discontinued for sure. Couldn't find an image of them on their own. This is the only image I could find. Green leather front and grey suede heel. Pair on the left of image.

I bought a pair of adidas trainers. Stan Smith something or other.

They have mullered my achiles heels - i've got large bloody wounds on both where the buggers have rubbed.

Seems like the heel part of the adidas shoes comes up a long way. I remember, but only now its happened again, the same thing happening on a pair of shell toe ones.

Anyone else have a similar problem, or tips for breaking them in.
