Gel Lytes by ASICS.

Apart from my Adidas Dragons (4 pairs now) these are by far the best trainers I have owned for many years.

Nice. They look like a hybrid of Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81 and ASICS Gel Lyre.

Funnily enough I've bought 4 pairs of ASICS in the last 24 hours. One was for a female friend of mine of though.

The name is a bit cringe, but would love a men’s version of these...

Yes awful name but why don’t you just buy the equivalent women’s size that’d fit you if you like them? They look unisex anyway.

A quick question on Nike AM sizing. I can't find any info online, but as there are so many Nike users on here, I'm sure I'll get the answer smile

I'm just about to buy a pair of AMs (my first pair), but an curious on sizing. I'm sized UK 8.5 wide, so is the general consensus that a Nike 8.5 is the right size to go for, or should I go for a size 9?

Yep, this.

If you like 'em, buy 'em yes

Quite a few of us have bought "women's" trainers on here. With a few obvious exceptions, I'd say most trainers are pretty much unisex.

Might give it a try but I’m a 10 and I believe women’s only go up to 9.5

They seem a similar shape as Dualtone Racers and I needed an 11 in those!

Only one way to find out I guess!!

I find that most Nike/Adidas/puma don't fit me and it can be pot luck if you find something that fits you.

I've sent numerous nikes back now, also a wide foot, but have found the air max 90 and Cortez fit.

Give us an example of what you’ve got and what size for reference. Obviously there’s still a chance that foot shape, how snug you like them etc play a part.

For me, Air Max 1 in a 7.5, adidas originals/Spezial in an 8. I actually use my EU sizing for reference between brands on things I’m unsure about as I find it more accurate

Thank you for the replay thumbup

For me, I'm specifically looking at the Air Force Max Premium ... specifically these:

Not great for wide feet. I have really narrow feet and Air Force fit well.

ETA: Consider Pippens instead:

So yesterday afternoon SWMBO found my stash of Dragons. All four pairs.....

After much hassle I agreed that I would not buy anymore trainers.

Today I bought these...
