I tweeted then on advice from a colleague i got an almost immediate response to dm them which i did so public persona good.
Unfortunately that was about 2 hrs ago and still no dm back!
DM's can take a while to be responded too, it'll have been passed to another person and they'll be working through a queue. Unfortunately that was about 2 hrs ago and still no dm back!

Use the web chat or call them up. I used DM once and then was told to email them... so saved no time Unfortunately that was about 2 hrs ago and still no dm back!
I had this with DPD the other day. What i think is the cause is that they have agreed a service level which has not been met. So they then show that the product has been delivered a d sign for it themselves and then get it done first thing next day hoping that we the consumer contact them and not the goods provider meaning that they never find out the service level was not met.
I may be proved wrong but reading through a few lines from what DPD and the shop keeper told me this is my take on it.
Essentially what I’m saying is it probably nothing to worry about.

Sorry I think you were replying to me and I deleted my post, I am hoping this is the case. Thanks for taking the time in writing a response anyway. I may be proved wrong but reading through a few lines from what DPD and the shop keeper told me this is my take on it.

No probs matt if you need me to i will delete my reply, and then this one if its putting you in an awkward spot or anything. Grown up trainer? Odd term.
I suppose people who aren't into trainers wear them to exercise in. I bought my dad a decent pair of New Balance for exercise. He doesn't wear trainers at any other time. He wears an old pair of merrels for the garden and smart shoes for work, brogues/boots for casual.
When I see older people wearing trainers its usually a running shoe with jeans, looks terrible IMO.
I see a lot of middle aged women in vans/converse or nike runners, older women seem better at trainers than older men from my observations!

In most people's eyes I'd imagine they are referring to all black Prada, Boss or Armani trainers or similar.
.
I would say the opposite, flash young people would wear them. I know zero 50+ year olds who would drop £300 on a pair of trainers, smart shoes yes, clothes yes, but not trainers! Only my observation. .

So having a chat with a mate and someone mentioned ‘grown up sneakers’, what constitutes to a grown up trrainer? higher end price tag, muted and toned down colours, simple minimal design?

I'd have been tempted to lamp said mate with a pair of Rawwr's foams

Always an interesting debate.Edited by bing on Thursday 15th November 09:27
I suspect those saying 'grown up' trainer are usually your Adidas Classics or Merrell wearers.
