More rain to fall on the NW facing hills (Scotland, England and Wales) in the next 24 hours than has fallen combined over the last 6 weeks.

Wednesday sees warm air sucked up from Spain/France - heavy rain and thunderstorms for the SE.

Low pressure around for the next week...

Useful service that won't be updated because its forecast team are off chasing storms in the US!

Seriously?

Rash of heavy showers across the entire south coast - some are turning a little thundery. Convection should allow them to liven up now the sun is coming out.

Signs of the first proper warm spell incoming later next week. Bank Holiday weekend potential is good (apart from Monday as it's BH Monday and my birthday...)

Absolutely pissing down here in west yorks.
It was gorgeous this morning and has gone steadily downhill over the last couple of hours

Proper April shower weather today. Sharp showers and potential thunder.

Warms up from today and signs are very good for a cracking bank holiday weekend. Not nailed on at this point...

Thursday, from beautiful sunny day to torrential rain and heavy hail in 5 minutes. Came down that heavy it landed on our patio parasol thing, the weight snapped the wooden pole and shattered the glass table it was through.
