WEEKEND FORMAT
Friday - meet and greet from about 11:00.
Pub lunch (12 - whatever time we can get away with at Chequers - turn left as you exit the hotel and its 50m on the right)
Evening - curry run into Stratford (to be booked - see below)
Saturday - rolling road, traders, tyre kicking, noise competitions, runs out, technical talks - tbc, general chit chat and tomfoolery. More to be added.
Evening - BBQ at the White Horse and some special real ales (to be booked - see below).
Sunday - recovery day, traders, rolling road, tyre kicking, goodbyes, wrap up around 15:00.
HOTEL BOOKING
Rates have now been agreed with the hotel are £84 per room per night, double/twin B&B and £74 per room per night, single B&B for stays of 2 nights. For stays of 1 night the rate is £10 more per night per room for both single and joint occupancy. All rooms are on a B&B basis.
We have 10 rooms for one night bookings only and 30 rooms for 2 night stays. If we can fill the 40 rooms they may allocate us more so please reserve your room early to avoid disappointment.
Rooms will be released to the general public on the 26th May 2016 after which rooms will only be available at standard internet rates.
To book please call 01789 740000 and ask for reservations, quoting "Griff Growl". Please ensure you get a booking reference. You are only RESERVING a room and not having to pay until check out so book early – you have been told. DO NOT book via the hotel web site or other booking web site as you will not get the special rates quoted above.
If anyone has to cancel please can you let me know as I can probably get the room reallocated. Any problems please let me know and I'll sort them.
CURRY - FRIDAY NIGHT
This will again be at Chutneys in Stratford-upon-Avon as the curry is top notch. The cost will be c£20 (cost TBC) which includes poppadoms, mixed starters, any main, and nan/rice and a return coach journey. Drinks are extra i'm afraid. We'll contact you nearer the time to pre-order the first drink to speed up the serving. Places are limited so please book early as this is extremely popular as anyone who has previously attended will tell you.
Coach will depart the Hotel at 19:00 prompt and will return about 22:30 back to Chequers which will stay open for us so we can sink a few nightcaps (please make sure I don't have too many). Payment in advance to secure your place(s) as we have to pay the coach up front. To book please contact Paul Bennett (FFG) at paul.bennett@cevalogistics.com
BUFFET DINNER - SATURDAY NIGHT
Chequers will be holding another buffet evening meal starting at 7pm. The pub is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Cost will be £15 per head payable in advance on a first come first served basis as places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please contact Paul Bennett (paul.bennett@cevalogistics.com) to book.

Last push for the Growl. Anyone wanting to come to the curry Friday or buffet on Saturday please let me know asap as i need to confirm numbers by Monday latest. There appear to be rooms for Friday not but I don't think there are rooms for Saturday so come along Friday, join us for a curry in Stratford (coach travel included), do the Growl Saturday and head off home Saturday afternoon/early evening.
Anyone wanting to do the rolling road please let me know as if they don't get the numbers i am in danger of them pulling out.
